Privacy Policy 

9.1

Collection and Use of Personal Information

The Customer authorises PPL to collect, retain, and use personal information about the Customer (including information collected directly from the Customer or indirectly from third‑party sources) for the following purposes:

(a) providing and delivering the Services, including verifying identity, managing accounts, and communicating with the Customer;
(b) lead generation, advertising, and marketing activities, including:
• paid advertising through Meta, Google, and other digital platforms
• follow‑up contact arising from lead‑generation campaigns
• email marketing, nurture sequences, and promotional communications
• retargeting using custom and lookalike audiences
• analytics, performance measurement, and campaign optimisation;

(c) assessing the Customer’s creditworthiness, managing credit risk, and making credit decisions;

(d) improving and developing PPL’s products and services, including through aggregated or anonymised analytics; and

(e) any other purpose authorised by the Customer or permitted by law.

9.2

 Disclosure of Personal Information

The Customer authorises PPL to disclose personal information about the Customer (whether collected directly or indirectly) to:

(a) third‑party service providers (including Meta, Google, email platforms, analytics providers, and advertising partners) solely for the purpose of delivering advertising, marketing, analytics, or related services;

(b) credit providers, credit reporting agencies, and debt collection agencies for the purposes of obtaining credit references, managing credit, or recovering outstanding amounts;

(c) any subcontractor or provider engaged by PPL in connection with delivering the Services; and

(d) any other party where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

PPL will not sell personal information to third parties.

9.3

Indirect Collection (IPP3A Compliance)

Where PPL collects personal information about the Customer indirectly (including through advertising platforms, analytics tools, cookies, tracking technologies, or third‑party data sources), PPL will take reasonable steps to notify the Customer of:

(a) the fact that the information has been collected;
(b) the purpose for which it has been collected;
(c) the third parties to whom the information may be disclosed; and
(d) the Customer’s rights to access, correct, or request deletion of their information.

9.4

Access, Correction, and Removal

The Customer may at any time request:

(a) access to the personal information PPL holds about them;
(b) correction of any inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated information; or
(c) removal or deletion of their personal information, to the extent permitted by law.

Requests may be made by contacting PPL using the details provided in the Agreement. PPL will respond to all requests in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.

9.5

Consent for Privacy Act Purposes

Where the Customer is an individual, the authorities and consents given under this clause 9 are provided for the purposes of the Privacy Act 2020, including the Information Privacy Principles (IPPs) and the Credit Reporting Privacy Code 2020.
