Need a laugh before your next workshop?

This week, in-between board meetings, project planning sessions and workshops, we made time for something important.

We made an infomercial.

An over-the-top, As Seen on TV-style solution to some of technology’s most troubling conditions:

❌ AI Anxiety❌ ERP Emergencies❌ Cloud Confusion

❌ Workshop Worries❌ Spreadsheet Suffering

If you recognise any of these symptoms, you may be suffering from a technology project.

Too many workshops deep, surrounded by sticky notes, staring at a spreadsheet and wondering how choosing a new system became quite this complicated?

Technology projects are serious business (but this video isn’t)

Watch the video and have a laugh at us. Maybe have a laugh at yourself too.

Because underneath the ridiculous sales pitch is a serious point.

Projects should start with a problem or an opportunity - not a solution.

A process that isn’t working,

A system that’s reaching the end of its life,

An opportuinity to improve service to customers and create growth.

But before choosing the technology, its vital you step back and get clear on the problem, outcomes, and the requirements that matter.

That clarity makes everything that follows easier, from building the business case and engaging vendors to governing the project and explaining the investment to your board.

Sometimes you also need to have a laugh

Technology projects can take months, sometimes years. As they progress, there are more decisions to make, more people involved, more money committed and less room for getting the big decisions wrong.

Even projects that are going well can become stressful.

We spend a lot of our time at Pro Partner helping organisations work through these decisions. The work is serious, the decisions matter and getting them right is important.

But that doesn’t mean we have to be serious all the time. That’s why we made the video.

I hope you enjoy it. Have a laugh at us. Maybe have a laugh at yourself too.

And if, once you’ve finished laughing, you’re still wondering wondering what to do next, let’s have a conversation.

It worked for Steffan!

Not sure where to start?

If you’re considering a process improvement, new technology, AI and automation, or a broader transformation, don’t start by asking what system you should buy.

Start with a few more fundamental questions:

  • What problem are we actually trying to solve?

  • What outcomes does the organisation need?

  • What needs to change?

  • What do we need to understand before selecting technology?

  • What is the practical path from where we are today to where we want to be?

Getting those answers clear will turn a vague technology idea into something your leadership team, board, people and potential technology partners can understand and act on.

Turn your opportunity into a clear plan

If you're considering a process improvement, new technology or a wider transformation, our 90-Minute Project Planning Workshop is designed to help turn the initial idea into a clearer project direction.

Or, if you’d simply like to talk through what you’re facing, book a 30-minute discussion to explore the opportunity, challenges, desired outcomes and practical next steps.

No steak knives. No three easy payments. Just a conversation.
